STANDARD SHIPPING FAQs
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to the UK Mainland. International shipping isn’t available.
How much does shipping cost?
We use a Next Day (from dispatch) courier service which is £6.20. Delivery is free on orders over £50 and collection from any of our taprooms is free; let us know where you’ll be collecting from in the notes section at checkout.
How many cans does one box hold, and is there a minimum order?
We ship in boxes of 12 or 24 cans. The minimum order for beer is 6 cans to make sure the cost of shipping and logistics is sustainable. There’s no minimum order for merch-only purchases, as these are sent via Royal Mail First Class.
Which courier will deliver my order?
We use DPD for all beer orders. Merch-only orders are sent via Royal Mail First Class. Prints are sent directly from our local printer.
How long will delivery take?
We use a Next Day Delivery service from dispatch, so once your order leaves the brewery you should receive it the next working day. Some remote areas may take longer. We send some local East London postcodes via bike courier, the delivery cost remains the same but reduces the environmental impact where we can.
When will my order leave the brewery? (What are the cut-off times?)
We dispatch Monday to Friday.

Orders placed before 10am are usually sent out the same day.

Orders placed after 10am will be dispatched the following working day.

Orders placed after 11am on Friday, or anytime over the weekend, will be sent the following week.
We’re a small team, so during busy periods there may occasionally be slight delays. If you need your order by a certain date, we recommend ordering earlier in the week.
Can I collect my order from the brewery or taproom?
Yes! If you’re local, you can pick up your order from your nearest taproom. Just add a note at checkout letting us know which one. Please don’t try to collect until you receive a collection email.
Orders placed after 11am Friday, or over the weekend, will be available to collect the following week. This is because not all taprooms carry webshop stock and orders need to be fulfilled by the brewery. If you need something the same day and you live near a taproom, we recommend popping in and choosing from their available stock.
Can I leave special delivery instructions?
We can’t pass on special instructions when booking your delivery. However, once you receive your DPD tracking information, you’ll be able to update your delivery preferences directly with them.
What happens if I’m not in when DPD try to deliver?
You’ll be sent a notification from DPD with options to reschedule or collect from a pick-up point.
My beer hasn’t arrived :(
If your order hasn’t arrived by the expected delivery date, check the tracking link first. It will give you up-to-date information, including delays at the depot or, occasionally, if a parcel has been damaged in transit and returned to us.
If you’re worried your order has been delayed or lost after seven days, get in touch with us at hello@prettydecentbeer.co and we’ll look into it for you.
Do you offer gift notes or wrapping?
We don’t offer gift wrapping, but we can add notes. These are handwritten by the team, so please keep them PG or they won’t be included!
SUBSCRIPTION SHIPPING FAQs
When will payment be taken?
Beer Club subscriptions are automatically renewed and payment will be taken on the same day that the original order was placed every month. If you signed up on the 5th, your payment renews around the 5th every month. Please note, all monthly Beer Club boxes ship on the last Thursday and Friday of the month so we can be sure to include the latest specials.
Who delivers the boxes?
Most subscriptions are shipped with DPD, but if you’re in East London you might spot Rafa on his bike at your door. Same price either way.

What’s in the box?
Mostly new releases with core beers if it makes sense in the mix. We’ll email you when your box ships with a rundown of what’s inside. We make the occasional stout and sour which will be included every now and then, but we get that not everyone likes those so when you purchase your subscription you’ll be able to let us know if you want to skip those.
How do I manage my subscription?
You can view your upcoming and past orders in your customer portal. You’ll find it through the magic link emailed to you when you signed up, or by logging into your account on our webshop. If you’re going on your hols, or need to skip a month for any reason, please email hello@prettydecentbeer.co.
What if my payment fails?
Don’t panic. You’ll get an email with a safe link to update your payment method. If you don’t update it, we can’t ship your box.
Can I update my delivery address?
Yes - log into your customer portal to update your subscription details.
How long does delivery take?
Boxes usually arrive within 1-3 days of shipping. We use a next-day service, but there may be delays once it’s with the courier. As a first action, please check your DPD email for the most recent updates on your delivery. If after 7 days it hasn’t arrived, please contact us so we can look into it.
What if I’m not home when my box arrives?
DPD will send you tracking info and options to rearrange delivery or collect from a pick-up point.
